The Restoration: Jen and Mike and the Full Circle team took almost 10 months to restore the house using materials from yesteryear such as hand cut lath and horse hair plaster. The entire house was re-shingled outside with extensive work done to rebuild the windows and rotted trim work. Every window was restored back to what it was in the 1970s as reproduction antique windows, floors were all saved and patched. All the window trim throughout the house was replicated to match the original trim in the dining room. The keeping room kitchen was added. New heat, electrics and plumbing throughout. Two bathrooms were added from existing spaces. One on the first floor where a storage and most likely the original birthing room was. The second floor, a bathroom replaced the main bedroom closet. The original bathroom upstairs was restored using existing materials such as the original bathtub and the sheathing found under the 1970s linoleum. A new septic was installed as well.
